- Have neighbors with varied personalities: 95% of the recipes that neighbors can give us when they are doing a DIY project are associated with the 8 neighbor personalities. Therefore the more different personalities there are on your island, the more likely you are to receive a new recipe.
- Using amiibo cards: When you invite a neighbor to your island’s camping area using an amiibo card, they will ask you to make a DIY project for them, and if you don’t happen to have the recipe, they will give it to you.
- Special characters and exchanges: If you do not manage to obtain new recipes in any way, it may be because you are missing very few or because they are associated with special characters such as Estela. Getting the latest recipes can be very complicated, so it can be very helpful to exchange repeated recipes with other players.
