Zelda: Breath of the Wild fans wonder what will happen to the Chosen Ones in the sequel

As anyone who has played Zelda: Breath of the Wild knows, the game’s Chosen Ones, or in other words, Mipha, Daruk, Urbosa and Revali, are a thing of the past. The characters died years ago, but they helped Link on his adventure one last time, with the help of their descendants, Sidon, Yunobo, Teba and Riju. As such, many fans who are fond of them have no doubt that there could be a possibility, in some way, that they could have a role in the game’s sequel.

As we saw in the events of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, what happened in the original game may have changed, and the new instalment could surprise us with the original Chosen Ones somehow still alive. However, many assume that the story of this spin-off is not entirely canonical, which begs the question, then, of whether these characters will actually appear.

For now, we have few details about the new game, as we don’t even know if Sidon and company will appear (despite being characters that are still alive and kicking). However, would you like them to appear in this new game? And if so, what role would they have? Everything is still very unclear. However, in a game where we seem to be travelling back in time, anything is possible, and let’s face it, people have grown too fond of these characters for them not to have a role, even if only indirectly.
