In the tweet below, we have confirmation that there are currently 900 different Pokémon confirmed. The information comes from Joe Merrick, webmaster of Serebii, who has calculated that, with the new Pokémon introduced for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, we have this round figure in total.

He also clarified that this figure does not include regional forms: if they were included, we would have a total of 1277 Pokémon.
