Pokémon Legends: Arceus is one of the most anticipated games on Nintendo Switch. However, we have recently learned that the fact of moving away from the original formula of the series means that we may not have some classic elements. This is what ScreenRant points out, although it does not necessarily have to be something negative.
From what we know now, everything seems to point to the following:
- It is in doubt whether there will be gym leaders or High Command.
- These elements could have been replaced by others more typical of the period in which the game takes place; an example could be guilds or traditional associations that would function as confrontations.
- This would be an opportunity to give another approach to this type of combat, as a kind of archaic gymnasiums that would later evolve into what we know today.
- Add to this training, leveling up, wild battles, open-world exploration and species capture, and you have a really well-rounded game despite the lack of gym leaders.
