When Thomas Kane, the only son of a famous family of illusionists, inexplicably disappears, 10-year-old Emma decides to investigate. On her way to the Kane mansion, Emma witnesses Fenton innocently jump out of a carriage at full speed. The girl and the teddy bear chase the carriage and enter the grounds of the mansion. Thus begins a captivating tale of illusory dangers and shifting perspectives.
In Tandem: A Tale of Shadows, fans of puzzle platformers and action-adventure games will be able to pull back the curtain on five beautiful Victorian-inspired worlds. Players will alternate between Emma’s top-down view and Fenton’s horizontal side-scrolling view, using the former’s torch to cast shadows for the teddy bear to walk through. Clever obstacles and clever gameplay mechanics will force players to stay constantly on their toes.
