Here comes confirmation of a new indie title for Nintendo Switch. It was announced just a few minutes ago by its developers at Indie World.
According to what was shared, this game will be coming to the hybrid console next year. For now we don’t have a more concrete release date, so we’ll keep an eye out for more details.

Metal Slug Tactics takes Metal Slug, the classic action franchise, in a new direction. It retains fan-favourite aspects, such as the detailed pixel graphics and explosive, fast-paced action, but adds roguelike elements and strategic combat mechanics. Players will control familiar Metal Slug heroes such as Marco, Tarma, Fio and Eri in frenetic and dynamic combat. And, as this is a strategy game, placing troops in the right place is essential. Doing so will activate the “Sync” ability, which allows multiple heroes to inflict extra damage on the enemy. It’s time to get ready for a new Metal Slug experience with Metal Slug Tactics, coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022.
