A new update is on its way to the Nintendo Switch game. This is a patch that the developers have officially announced for Pokémon Unite.
Specifically, this version of the game includes several fixes, balancing and adjustments that aim to improve the user experience on the hybrid console. It will be available on August 4th at 9 AM CEST / 12 AM PDT / 7:00 UTC. In addition, the spectator mode feature will be launched in test mode from 4 to 6 August.

- Spectator Function Test Release: A test version of the Spectator Function will be released from 4-8-2021 at 12AM PDT / 7:00 UTC until 6-8-2021 at 12AM PDT / 7: 00 UTC. Changes are being made to some Pokémon stats and moves to adjust the balance of Unite Battles.

- Effects on opposing Pokémon were strengthened.

Unite Move: Verdant Anger
- Increases damage dealt to opposing Pokémon.
