Develop the best gifted students with three main gameplay elements.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is a vastly improved version of Ultimate Talent Development Plan, the board game from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. The setting is set on the tropical resort of Jabberwock Island, which consists of a central island connected to five other islands via bridges. This final summer camp takes place over 50 days (50 turns). Initially, it will be difficult to visit all the islands in only 50 days, so players must upgrade their characters through the “Development (board game)”, “Battle” and “School Shop” functions.

Development (board game)

The main part of the game in which players will develop their character over 50 days (50 turns) of summer camp on Jabberwock Island. Roll a die to determine how many spaces to move. An event will be triggered depending on which space the character lands on. Each character has various stats, including level. Character stats improve as they level up, even stopping on a Growth Square or interacting with other characters in Event Squares. Bosses placed by Monokuma and monster battles triggered by Battle Squares will hinder the player’s path. Talent Squares grant Talent Fragments, which give characters new abilities. Players will also need to acquire weapons and armour from shops and treasure chests, as well as use cards with useful effects.

Battles

Battle mode can be played separately from the Battle Squares found in the board game. Develop characters and form a party of up to four members and take on the 200-storey Tower of Despair where Monokuma-like monsters await you. In the Tower of Despair, enemies attack in rounds and the player is rewarded with Monokuma medals upon victory. Players must level up their characters as they learn skills and prepare their characters to emerge victorious.

School Shop

In the school shop, players can spend Monokuma medals and Monocoins earned in battle to obtain new characters and support items using the MonoMono machine. Each character has different rarities, and the higher the rarity, the faster they will grow in development mode.
