E3 2021 is getting closer and closer, and after Nintendo finally confirmed its plans for the event recently, many are now wondering which of the company’s titles we’ll be able to see at the event.
These will include Nintendo Switch releases “primarily” planned for 2021, so we may see others in the lead up to 2022. However, after a review of the reaction to Nintendo’s plans at this year’s E3, it looks like the most anticipated projects will be the following:
- News of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which remains the most anticipated game for Nintendo fans.
- News and more screenshots of the new Pokémon games, Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, after their release dates were recently confirmed.
- Announcement of a new playable character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate following the addition of Pyra and Mythra to the second Fighters Pass
- News of Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 as two of the company’s most mysterious games after their distant announcements.
Also added to this list is content from already announced titles like Splatoon 3, new Kirby or Metroid games, more news for Zelda’s 35th anniversary, and content from more upcoming titles like Mario Golf: Super Rush, Monster Hunter Stories 2 or No More Heroes 3. Finally, there’s also the rumoured Nintendo Switch Pro, though reports were that it would be revealed before E3.
