There’s big news for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players. Earlier today Nintendo confirmed that the next major update to the game, which will bring the game to version 12.0.0, will arrive “in the near future”.
Here’s the message it shared:
Ver. 12.0.0 of Super #SmashBrosUltimate will arrive in the near future! Your replay data from previous versions may be incompatible. Convert your replays by going to Vault -> Replays -> Replay Data -> Convert to Video, before updating.

The Japanese company reminds Smash players to convert any game replays they have saved to video before the update arrives, as replay data from previous versions may be incompatible.
It’s worth noting that fighters are usually released shortly after these demo videos, so coupled with today’s 12.0.0.0 reveal, it looks like we’ll be able to play Kazuya as early as next week.
