  • Nintendo Switch has now surpassed 20 million units sold in Japan since launch.
  • Between launch and May 30, 2021 (222 weeks in total), Nintendo Switch sold 20,018,278 units in Japan
  • Sales by model:
    • Nintendo Switch: 16,168,420 units
    • Nintendo Switch Lite: 3,849,858 units
  • It is expected to surpass Nintendo 3DS (around 25 million units) and maybe even Nintendo DS (over 32 million units) if it stays on the market long enough and sales continue at this rate.
