As you may recall, Nintendo has released a new update for its successful hybrid platform: Nintendo Switch. However, its distribution was withdrawn a few hours later and the company explained this morning why. Well, now it seems that the bugs have been fixed, and it’s available again.
In this case, it is the same patch that introduces version 12.0.3 with “general system stability improvements to enhance the user experience”. This is the message released by Nintendo.
General system stability improvements to enhance the user experience.
The firmware update is available for download again. If you experienced problems with the microSD card (described below), you can make it work by inserting the microSD card into the console, connecting to the Internet and then updating the console.
The problem detected was that those who wanted to use a microSDXC card for the first time in the console would find that it would not let them read it. This can now be fixed as described above. On the other hand, if you haven’t had any problems downloading it, no action has been specified.
Finally, we remind you that the last update was released at the beginning of the month with few new features. The last major one was last November with the ability to transfer screenshots and videos, the Switch Online icon in the menu and some more content. Again, fans are wondering when the next major release will be released.
At the moment, we don’t know if the update brings any other changes not listed in the patch notes.
