New official Nintendo Switch controller announced to be perfect for controlling trains

While Nintendo Switch has received a number of quirky controllers, few are as unusual as the one we’re bringing you today. It’s a controller inspired by train controls.

In particular, this officially licensed controller for Japan will be released on the occasion of Densha by Go! Hashirou Yamanote Sen, the new train simulator series that has been extremely popular in Japan since its inception in 1996. The controller launches on August 8 for around $134 and allows you to realistically recreate the feeling of driving a real train by offering internal levers and gears while including all the functions to navigate the Nintendo Switch menus. We’ll probably soon be getting videos of you controlling all kinds of games on the hybrid console with this peculiar controller.
