This is something that has been seen on both Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. If we take a look at the tops of the most downloaded games in their eShops at the moment, we see that Metroid: Samus Returns is the second best seller at the moment on Nintendo 3DS, while Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion top the Wii U top.
