Leakers who leaked Sword and Shield content prematurely ordered to pay damages to The Pokémon Company

You may recall that The Pokémon Company filed a lawsuit against the leakers who leaked information about Pokémon Sword and Shield shortly before its release. Well, today we’ve got some news on the matter.

According to what was shared, one of the leakers was someone who took these photos while working at the company as part of the development of the official strategy guide. Another was responsible for disseminating these images on Discord, and they eventually made their way to the entire internet before some Pokémon and alternate forms of existing Pokémon were officially announced.

In the documents, the defendants are ordered to pay $150,000 in damages and attorney’s fees. Finally, it is also reconfirmed that the Portuguese website FNintendo has been blacklisted by Nintendo for publishing its own leaks similar to the ones described above.
