Konami is one of the most important companies in the video game industry, having legendary sagas like Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Castlevannia, or Pes, they even own the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand, that famous collectible card saga.
Well, today Konami announced that they have entered into a “strategic cooperation agreement” with the company Bloober Team, known for making for example the recent The Medium. This collaboration is about jointly developing selected content and exchanging know-how.
This makes it more likely that the famous horror saga Silent Hill will return, something that has been rumoured for quite a few months, and with this new news about the cooperation of the aforementioned companies, it is easier for the rumours to come true…
On the other hand, many fans are wondering if we’ll see the results of such a collaboration on Nintendo’s hybrid, Nintendo Switch, and it will probably depend on how keen Konami is to get their work out to console gamers.
