As many of you may already know, a few days ago Nintendo announced the official release dates for both Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus, for November 19th and January 28th, respectively.
Well, while this information may have excited fans of the series, it has unsettled some fans of The Legend of Zelda, due to their expectations for the release of the long-awaited sequel Breath of the Wild, which was announced at E3 2019 and hasn’t shown any more information about since. As it turns out, it’s rare for Nintendo to release major titles that are just a few months apart, something that happens exceptionally with the aforementioned Pokémon games, which are only three months apart in time.
For this reason, it is more than likely that the release of the sequel to the open-world The Legend of Zelda will be released in spring 2022 at the earliest, if not later. A very good time would be to release it right around the 5th anniversary of the original game, although it is completely out of the question that we will finally see it in 2021.
