Out of Line, originally planned for this summer, will be released later this year for Nintendo Switch

We get the update on the indie title window for Nintendo Switch. Hatinh Interactive and Nerd Monkeys have announced that they will be releasing Out of Line on the hybrid console sometime in 2021 (also on PS4 and Xbox One). The last we heard of it last April was that it was coming this summer, so it looks like it’s coming a little later than expected for the console version.

Here’s a reminder of its premise and a new trailer:

A unique adventure game, full of beautiful hand-drawn puzzles in a unique 2D style. Out of Line follows the adventures of San in his quest to escape the Factory that was once his home. Immerse yourself in a story set in a mysterious world that reveals itself through multiple chapters.

Key features:

  • Enjoy dozens of beautiful puzzles.
  • Learn to master the mechanics of the spear.
  • Interact with the environments.
  • Learn how to get valuable help from extraordinary characters.
  • Discover the story of San and make it your own interpretation.

At the moment we don’t have a more concrete release date for the hybrid console, so we’ll keep an eye out for more details. However, it has also been announced that Out of Line will be released on PC (Steam) on 23 June. It seems that their initial plan was to release it on that date on all platforms but, for some unknown reason, that didn’t happen.
