It seems that Square Enix is interested in making announcements at E3 2021. This was recently confirmed by the company’s CEO, Yosuke Matsuda.
“Outriders, which was previously delayed, comes out on April 1, 2021, followed by NieR Replicant ver.1.2247444487139… in April,” Matsuda shared in a recent meeting with Nikkei. “Then there’s Final Fantasy VIII Remake Intergrade, which is coming out in June. As for our slate of games beyond that, we’ll be making more announcements in the future, including at E3 in June, so look forward to that.”
In doing so, the company joins the likes of Capcom, Koch Media, Konami, Nintendo, Microsoft, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment who have previously confirmed their participation at the event.
