Full details of the Nature Day 2021 event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Once again this year, Nature Day will return to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Here we bring you all the details you need to know about this event to make the most of it.

It is a celebration of Earth Day, which is celebrated around the world on 22 April. We leave you with the key facts:

In 2021, the Nature Day event starts on 22 April and lasts two weeks (in 2020, the event lasted from 23 April to 4 May).
Remember that in the week before we can get a globe at TeleNook:

The event will once again feature the lazy Gandulio and is expected to give us extra Nook miles thanks to some special Nature Day tasks: these are tasks such as planting bushes and trees and watering the island’s plants, which will be marked in green.

Remember that if you complete at least one of these quests, you can talk to Tom Nook to receive a recipe for a hedge fence if you don’t have one (it requires 10 clumps of weeds, five tree branches and two stones to make). This item serves as a fence and when you create it, you will be given 10 units.
To be prepared, we recommend having a shovel handy to plant flowers and bushes, berries if we want to buy items from Gandulio (who appears from time to time in the square) and all the weeds we want to sell to Gandulio, as he pays twice as much as Tendo and Nendo.

Finally, here are the bushes that Gandulio sells exclusively:
