On this occasion, the short film presents us with a bug introduced with the most recent update of the game, version 1.10. It makes it impossible for players who didn’t try the event last year to get Fran’s photo as a reward for beating the new May Day maze, as they receive the suitcase that players who did play the 2020 event received on that occasion. The only option for them to get the photo is to exchange it with another player who did play the 2020 maze and received the photo this year.
If you didn’t play last year’s event and haven’t updated the game yet, it is recommended to travel back in time to 1 May 2020, complete last year’s event to get the suitcase and then go back to 2021 and install the new update. It is also likely that new players who have already missed Fran’s photo will be able to get it next year.
