Stardew Valley version 1.5 for consoles has already been submitted for review.

Well-known indie developer ConcernedApe has confirmed that Stardew Valley’s 1.5 update, due at the end of January, has been submitted for review and is awaiting certification.

This means that the company can’t offer a specific release date, as in the case of Nintendo Switch, it’s up to Nintendo and its departments to review the new version and give it the go-ahead for release. However, ConcernedApe believes the update could still be ready by the end of January or early February at the latest.

We’ll keep an eye out for confirmation of an official release date for this version, which will bring bug fixes and add Beach Farm and advanced gameplay options.
