#BuyAnimalCrossingDigital Goes Viral Amid Coronavirus Outbreak In Spain

A new hashtag called “#CompraAnimalCrossingDigital”, or “#BuyAnimalCrossingDigital”, has started going viral in Spain.

The hashtag was launched by a group of Animal Crossing fans concerned by the coronavirus outbreak in Spain.

These fans are trying to convince others to purchase Animal Crossing: New Horizons digitally instead of physically so that those working in the postal service will not increase the chance of catching the coronavirus during this time, and fans of the series could stay at home and protect themselves.

Here are some of the tweets:

“I am in favor of having the games in physical because having the box makes me very excited, especially if it is from AC, which is my favorite saga, but this is the right thing to do.

I don’t want to expose delivery people to the pandemic by having them bring the game into my home.“

I join the initiative #CompraAnimalCrossingDigital

I am the first who does not like to buy physical games online, but I want to show solidarity with my uncles first since I live with them and they are older.

And then with the dealers that they continue to work most :(“

Buy digitally by dealers, but buy from official sellers, if an intermediary sells cheaper, it is not a gift for you, let’s be responsible with what little we can do as consumers, let’s think about the developers #CompraAnimalCrossingDigital
