Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto will finally reach Switch in 2020

Almost four years after its departure on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC and with the three previous games already in the Nintendo hybrid, Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto has been dated by Bandai for its arrival on Switch on April 23 of 2020, and for now, only for the Japanese market, it is already a reality..

Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto

Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto is the fourth installment of the Shippuden saga, known in the West as Ultimate Ninja Storm.

It is the most complete version of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 that includes, in addition to the original game, new missions and characters related to the movie ‘Boruto: Naruto the movie’ that already tells the adventures of Boruto Uzumaki, son of Naruto.

The previous three chapters did reach Nintendo Switch in a single pack (which we analyzed here in 2018) although only in digital format and can also be purchased separately in the eShop. Now the series is completed with this latest installment (for now) that will be accompanied by the Momoshiki and Kinshiki DLCs.

The arrival on Switch of this Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto is something that has always been speculated.

Precisely there by October of this year, in a Q&A with Hiroshi Matsuyama, the CEO of CyberConnect2, developer of the title, Matsuyama himself acknowledged that the decision to carry this fourth installment to the Nintendo hybrid did not depend on them but on Bandai and that the company would have no problem bringing the game to the console as long as Bandai approved.

It seems that in the end it has been, now it is time to wait to know if the last installment of the adventures of the ninja of the hidden village of Konoha and his friends (and his progeny) will cross the Japanese borders and will reach the west even in digital format as in previous deliveries.
