Taiwanese Premier Shares A Message About Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Su Tseng-chang, the premier of Taiwan, has shared a message about Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The premier wrote on his Facebook post that Taiwan will “never ban a game about picking up branches and growing trees and making fun of the government”, in reference to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

He also encouraged everyone to play games “as much as possible” and iterated that democracy and freedom of speech are “core values” of Taiwan.
