Did you know it’s possible to catch ants in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Unlike other critters, you’ll have to go through a few hoops before having the chance to catch them in the game. Here’s what you need to do:
- Purchase turnips from Daisy Mae on Sunday. Daisy Mae appears at your island every Sunday from 5am to 12pm to sell turnips. Although she only sells turnips in stacks of 10, you’ll only need to use 1 turnip to bait the ants
- Turnips usually last 7 days before they spoil, so make sure you sell 9 turnips at Nook’s Cranny and keep 1 to use as bait for the ants.
- The next Sunday, the turnip you kept should have turned into a spoiled turnip. Drop it on the ground and you’ll start seeing ants. Catch the ants with your net.
