It tells the story of Frank, a humble and unremarkable postman who dreams of living large. He receives a letter from his old friend Leo, who managed to survive the horrors of war. Leo proposes to open his own bar as his first business and first step towards a glorious future.
Suddenly, their plans go awry as they have to deal with loan sharks, business rivals, smugglers and other types of criminals.
