Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water does not appear to have a physical release for Nintendo Switch in the West

It looks like Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will only be released digitally in the West. That’s what the latest details we’ve learned about the Nintendo Switch re-release suggest.

They suggest that the game will only be offered on the eShop in Western territories. However, we already know that a physical version will be available in Asia.

In fact, interested fans can already pre-order it with international shipping from Play-Asia. This Asian version is expected to support English, although this has not been 100% confirmed at this stage.

We’ll keep an eye out for more details on this physical version. In the meantime, what do you think – will you be picking up Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water on Nintendo Switch? Remember that the game launches on this console on October 28th in the West for Nintendo Switch.

A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available for Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, which includes a copy of the game, a digital art book and six costumes inspired by previous characters in the series: Mio Amakura and Rei Kurosawa for Yuri, Mayu Amakura’s and Miku Hinasaki’s two costumes for Miu, and Kei Amakura’s costume for Ren. In addition, those who pre-order or purchase the game within the first two weeks of release will receive a special Ryza costume from Atelier Ryza.
