You may have wondered how No More Heroes might fit in as a film or TV series. IGN put this very question to the series’ creator, Suda51, and his response was surprising.
Apparently, there was an opportunity in the past that came close to making this idea a reality, a movie or series in which even the lead actor had already been cast. However, it seems that it never happened and who that actor was has not been shared.
In the meeting, Suda also says that he has received many proposals and offers to make films or series in recent years, but that none of them have materialized. He adds that he himself hopes that one day he can realize that dream and bring a film or series to all the No More Heroes fans “on Amazon Prime, Netflix, or something”.
