New mobility gimmick discovered in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Once again we get an interesting video related to one of the most prominent games in the Nintendo Switch catalogue. This time it’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

In the video released today, which you can see below, a new mobility trick in the game that you probably don’t know about is shown. Apparently, it allows us to move between gaps created by terraforming walls and other objects on the island if certain conditions are met.

Specifically, in order for the trick to work and allow us to pass through the gap between a wall and an object, the wall must have an object on top of it. This way, the character will be able to pass between the wall and the object if there is an object on top of the wall, while if the wall has no object on top of it, the character will not be able to pass.

It’s a bit of a strange trick and it is not known why or if it will be patched in the future. In the meantime, you can see it in the video below:
