The Legend of Zelda is one of the most beloved franchises in the video game world, which has earned Nintendo a huge amount of money. Link, Hyrule’s most iconic hero, has spent a lot of time during the various instalments collecting rupees to buy weapons, armour and so on. Well, according to NetCredit, the Link of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, would be the richest Link of all.
Something that didn’t happen in the other adventures, in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players could reach a rupee limit of up to 999,999 rupees. This limit is up to 100 times higher than in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
This new update to the total amount of rupees the hero could store, as well as the estimated value, according to NetCredit, of the rupees (around $0.0096, which is around 0.0081 euros at the exchange rate), means that Link could reach a total of $96,329 (around 81,674.95 euros).
However, this amount, although it should not be undeserved, is far from that reached by other “fellow professionals”, such as Mario (which ranks first with a total of $ 805,676,122,480) or Sonic (which ranks fourth with $ 2,193,845).
