How to unlock all Pokémon in Pokémon Unite and cost of all licences

After continuing to receive requests, we bring you more Pokémon Unite-related content. After its release on Nintendo Switch as a free download, we now bring you information on an important aspect: what is the total cost to get all the Pokémon?

As you know, some Pokémon can be obtained directly after completing the tutorial. However, others require special licences, known as Unite Licences. In addition to this, there are also Pokémon rotations that allow us to try out some fighters on a temporary basis.

Here are the methods of attainment with their in-game costs:

Free of charge:

Starter Pokémon (see our guide on which Pokémon to choose here). One of these 5:

  • Pikachu
  • Charizard
  • Snorlax
  • Talonflame
  • Eldegoss

Rewards from events and challenges:

These are all the Pokémon you can currently unlock for free by playing.

  • Zeraora
    • Free bonus for players who download the game on Switch before 31 August.
  • Slowbro
    • Reach Trainer Level 2
  • Venusaur
    • Reach Trainer Level 5
  • Alola Ninetales
    • Second Day Bonus of the “14 Day Welcome Gifts” event
  • Cinderace
    • Eighth day bonus of the “14 Day Welcome Gifts” event
  • Greninja
    • Bonus from the 14th day of the “14 Day Welcome Gifts” event
  • Crustle
    • Complete all seven steps of the beginner challenge.

Prices of Unite Licences:

These licences can be purchased with the basic Aeos Coin or using premium Aeos Gems. Once you buy a Pokémon licence, you don’t need to buy it again. :
