We bring you an important message related to one of the most prominent games of the moment for Nintendo Switch users, which has recently been published on YouTube. It is Streets of Rage 4.
In the tweet, we can know the apologies that Dotemu have issued because of the delay of the content of the DLC Mr. X Nightmare for Nintendo Switch. Apparently, it didn’t launch on the scheduled date, July 15, due to a technical error, and now they are trying to release it as soon as possible on the eShop. However, it seems they still have to sort out the review and approval of the DLC.
You can see it here:
To be honest with you, we're devastated and we did everything we could to get the DLC launched before the weekend.

We have absolutely no decision power nor control over the validation process. We cannot bypass this step so there's nothing else we can do but wait with you guys. pic.twitter.com/JyaS2aPID1
We remind you of the details of this content:
Play as Shiva, the charismatic KenpÅ master whose time has come. Ready to leave the Syndicate for good, Axel Stone’s former rival is now determined to make a difference in Mr. X Nightmare.
Mr. X Nightmare
Estel Aguirre, one of “the three fighters included in X Nightmare”, as he goes off duty to join forces with the heroes of Streets of Rage 4 for the first time. Previously appearing in the game as an intimidating boss fight-style foe, Estel’s powerful spinning kicks inflict serious damage on anyone foolish enough to get in her way. Witness Estel in action and discover a hint about the other two characters in the DLC that have yet to be revealed.
The DLC also features a unique Survival Mode, which challenges players to elevate and prove their true abilities through special tests of skill; more details on the design and gameplay of this mode will be shared soon. Players can also build their own personalised fighting style with new moves through character customisation, while additional weapons and enemies are sure to keep the battles interesting ahead. This content includes lively new original music from Tee Lopes, a composer and arranger who previously appeared in Sonic Mania, League of Legends and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, among other titles.
Free update
Elsewhere, the free update brings a brutal challenge to the most formidable Streets of Rage 4 players via the “New Mania +” difficulty. An in-depth training system is coming to help fighters perfect their strategies and alley-clearing combinations, and new colour palette options keep Wood Oak City’s most dangerous fighters looking interesting.
