Dataminers find new references to Figaro’s cafe and more in today’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons update

We bring you from YouTube an interesting message related to one of the most prominent video games in the Nintendo Switch catalogue. We are talking about Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

In the text, we can learn news about references to the cafeteria within the code of the game. The information has been offered by dataminers, who have been diving into the new update recently released for the game.

Here’s what they share:

There’s a new progress event called ‘cNpcMemory: TalkProgressMuseumBuiltCafe’. This could finally mean that Figaro’s cafe is coming to the game. The camera setup for the café was added in version 1.10 and then changed slightly in this 1.11 update. Data miner SuperSpazzy theorises that the café will most likely be added as a room outside of the main museum room.

On the other hand, it seems that Fran’s dialogues have been updated with direct references to the café as well. This would make sense in the event that characters such as this would go to the café. It is certainly a further indication that the café is on its way. It could be coming in Nintendo’s announced update later this year.

Finally, it’s worth noting that there are also hints in the code of different interactions with neighbours that could be on the way. References to “Fortune” appear in them, suggesting that it could be related to the luck and Katrina seen in previous installments.
