Pokémon Unite, a video game developed by Tencent that fans of the series will be able to enjoy from next July on their Nintendo Switch, features gameplay that is already familiar from other titles.
While details may still be missing, here are the key things that set it apart from the other spin-offs in the series:
- The gameplay presents a new experience never seen before in previous games in the series.
- A brand new element is introduced: Aeos Energy. This appears when a Pokémon is defeated, although it is not yet known how it will be used in the game.
- In Pokémon Unite, as in most other Pokémon Unite titles, Pokémon can evolve, although in this case they will only evolve temporarily as they level up by defeating their opponents.
