The first part of Caves & Cliffs comes to Minecraft on June 8

Once again we receive an interesting message related to one of the most prominent games in the Nintendo Switch catalogue. In this case we are talking about Minecraft.

In the shared text, we can learn that we will soon be able to enjoy the first part of the update confirmed some time ago. It’s the first part of Caves & Cliffs, which launches on June 8.

Here it is:

While falling down the mountain, I pondered all the options that led me to install the Caves & Cliffs snapshot. My act of pure madness as I approached the goat and extended the proverbial olive branch, a bundle of hay. All my belongings are now scattered at the base of the mountain. But there’s time to get this right, because the Caves & Cliffs: Part I update will be out on 8 June! And in the meantime, I will officially request the Vanilla team to remove the goats.

The update will be available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox X Series, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and Windows 10, as well as Java Edition on Windows, macOS and Linux. Clearly, no one is safe from these dreaded creatures. The good news is that the update also includes charming and totally harmless content.

But that’s not all: Minecraft Earth’s once-exclusive mob, the glowing squid, will also grace our oceans! While I was on Team Mooshroom (another request I should address), I’m glad this one doesn’t reward my kindness with a brutal push. Plus, it’s so pretty, it might motivate me to build that huge aquarium I’ve always wanted.

And what would a Minecraft update be without blocks? In this round, there are plenty of them. Some of them will simply appear in the world, while others may be a little harder to discover. If instant gratification is your thing, then you can always switch to creative mode, where you can access them all, from amethyst to dripleaves to the long-awaited copper block! Like my referential mood, this block shows its age after being placed in the world, giving your builds a sense of history and a more organic feel. However, I think the most exciting thing for me is the spyglass. My eyesight isn’t what it used to be, so those goats really seem to come from nowhere right now.
