The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem has raised $3.6 million in only two days

Edmund McMillen, designer of The Binding of Isaac, set up a Kickstarter in 2018 to fund Four Souls, a card game inspired by the popular indie title. At the time, it ended up generating a whopping $2.65 million, and the card game hit shops the following year. However, McMillen returned last May with a new expansion for the game and a new Kickstarter to raise money.

We remind you of its features:

  • The expansion is called “Requiem” and adds more than 200 new cards to the existing Four Souls game.
  • The Kickstarter will offer several tiers for backers to choose from, with rewards such as Isaac-related figurines, plush figures, clothing and more, depending on your choice.
  • Perhaps the most desirable of these rewards is the treasure chest, which can hold over 1,000 cards in protective sleeves and comes with “multiple surprise gifts” along with the new expansion.

The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem has been available on Kickstarter since 1 June and has already raised more than 3 million euros/dollars. It should be noted that the initial goal was to raise and at the time of writing this news has already raised €3,014,121, thanks to 30,365 backers and there are still 28 days to go before the deadline, so obviously this figure will be higher if possible, being a very successful project.
