It looks like Sonic Colors: Ultimate has some interesting new features in its new version. This was revealed today by Famitsu, who showed new screenshots of the game.
One more feature has been confirmed in addition to the Rival Rush mode: a new gameplay system known as “Tails’ help” (unofficial translation). Although Tails doesn’t appear to be playable, it seems that the character will appear in levels. If a special medal is earned, Tails can save Sonic from falling down the ravine and drop him on a nearby platform, preventing the player from losing any rings they have accumulated and having to start from the last checkpoint.
