Good news from Nintendo. We now have a date for a new company meeting scheduled for August 2021.
After knowing a few days ago the date of the 81st annual general meeting with shareholders along with the topics to be discussed at it, it has now been confirmed that the next meeting to present financial results for the last three months will be held on 5 August 2021.
On that date, financial results and sales data for the first quarter of the current fiscal year (1 April to 30 June 2021) are expected to be compared. There will also be the usual list of Nintendo Switch’s own best-selling games, updated console sales and release schedule, which we expect to be finalized somewhat earlier at E3.
In fact, in this first quarter of the fiscal year meeting there is usually no real news beyond the sales data if we look at previous first quarters. Nonetheless, we’ll stay tuned for updates on what is confirmed at the meeting.
