Fans fear Pokémon Legends: Arceus may have rushed the release date

There have been a huge amount of announcements regarding Pokémon recently, with, among other things, the release date of Pokémon Legends: Arceus being revealed, which will be coming to Nintendo Switch on January 28th, 2022.

Well, although it had already been confirmed in the title’s announcement that it would arrive in early 2022, fans have been really concerned that the release is coming in the first month of the year; they fear that Nintendo has been rushed and the title lacks sufficient quality due to a lack of development time.

In fact, some have even called Game Freak “too incompetent” to be able to finish the development of a game in such a short amount of time; remember that, in the first trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it was clear that development was still at a very early stage.

On the other hand, it has also come as a surprise that the open-world game is being released only 3 months after the fourth generation remakes, Pokémon Shiny Diamond and Shimmering Pearl. Finally, there are fans who give the developers a vote of confidence and trust that both titles will live up to expectations.
