Nintendo Switch sales up 12% in Q1 2021, outselling Xbox Series and PS5 combined

Although Nintendo Switch was launched more than four years ago, in March 2017, it enjoys a huge and growing popularity today.

This is reflected, as always, in its sales, as according to Ampere Analysis the hybrid console is reported to have increased its sales by 12% in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year, with numbers reaching 5.81 million units sold.

In addition, it has also achieved another feat: outselling the Xbox X|S Series and PS5 combined, as both have managed to sell only 1.31 million and 2.83 million units respectively, a rather low figure whose cause is mainly due to lack of stock.
