It seems that Nintendo continues to dominate in TV ad views in the US. This has been confirmed by a new report from VentureBeat.
According to the report, the company continues to be the most watched video game company in US TV commercials. The period analysed in this case is from 16 March to 15 April 2021, in which it achieved 553.6 million TV ad impressions. This accounts for 90% of video game TV ad impressions for this time period Sony follows with just 46.5 million TV ad impressions and MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM) with 8 million TV ad impressions.

- “My Way: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury” was the most watched commercial with 103.7 million TV ad impressions.
- Viewers found it “wholesome” and “nostalgic”.
- 31% cited the product itself as the best thing about the ad.
- The TV channels that generated the highest number of impressions for Nintendo are Nick, Cartoon Network and Disney Channel.
- The top shows among those aired were SpongeBob SquarePants, The Amazing World of Gumball and The Loud House.
