The Late Night Show genre is always trying to determine the most popular topics of the moment, in order to appeal to other types of audiences and also to vary the topics of conversation and comedy a little.
We’ve seen popular series like Sonic, Super Mario Bros. and Pokémon appear on these types of shows in the past, and the most recent to receive attention is none other than Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as a recent Last Week Tonight show with John Oliver featured a segment dedicated to the Nintendo Switch exclusive title.
